I wanted to take a quick break and talk about a new website I recently stumbled upon, Wines ‘Til Sold Out. Although this is a blog primarily focused on the other 46 states, I also plan on sharing great websites, blogs, and books focused on the wine industry. Sites like CellarTracker, Wine Library TV, and Woot.Wine are changing the way consumers approach and enjoy wine. Today more than ever, we have an abundance of information available at our fingertips in real time. Whether browsing the aisles of your local wine store, or searching for that favorite bottle online, we now have wine reviews, critic scores, and price comparisons with a click of a mouse. The challenge of course, is finding our way through the millions of sites.
The Wines ‘Til Sold Out website has become my newest obsession. In a nutshell, the website offers a wine at 30 to 70% off, until it’s sold out. They also offer free shipping based on a minimum purchase, typically tied to the price point of the wine being featured. I’m talking big labels, Pine Ridge, Nickel & Nickel, and Mondavi, just to name a few. Scores are usually in the 90 plus point range from the industries biggest wine critics, Robert Parker, Wine Spectator, and Wine Enthusiast. A site definitely worth bookmarking.
Today happened to be Marathon Monday, a one day event in which they offer 80 plus wines in small lots, at drastically reduced prices. In fact, as I’m writing this post, I’m obsessively refreshing the website. And in this economy, a penny saved is a penny earned.

Be careful using wtso.com. I just investigated one of their offers and was disappointed to learn that the vintage stated on their E-mail was not the same as the vintage stated on the website. When I went to the winery’s website, the vintage they were offering was $8.99 less per bottle than their offer.
E-mail stated Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay 2007
A picture of the 2005 vintage was shown with “Image not correct vintage”
website stated 2006 vintage $18.99
Sonoma Cutrer website states 2006 vintage $10.00 per bottle.
Hello,
I’ll have to look into this more. To date, I’ve had great service from WTSO. I recommend sending an email to the customer service team to find out the events around the mistake. Cheers!
I’ve been actively reviewing this website (WTSO) and have made about 4 separate purchases so far with 2 still waiting to be shipped. No disappointments so far; although I am in an area where I have some great retail and discount wine shops within a 10-mile radius of where I live/work, WTSO offers some terrific finds and values. Be patient and something of your liking will be offered with a very good price attached to it. I find that the weekends have some of the better offerings.
Hi Peter,
I agree. I continue to find incredible deals through WTSO.com. I love the Monday Marathons, just wish they were more frequent! But then again, maybe that’s a good thing! I spend too much on wine as it is. Cheers!
I discovered this website in August, and have spent well into 4 figures thru Dec 3 on some great wines – no disappointments so far, although we just had a shipment signed for by someone claiming to be me and took our package! we’ll see how well they honor their claims….
I recommend this one to folks who live in areas that don’t have great wine stores – like us!
I ordered some wine, received it ,loved it. Have not seen any gmails to me about any wine offers. Can I get back on the WTSO (winestilsoldout) ? I used to get 4 emails , at least, a day . Thanks for any help Dan P
